The Disc Golf Club of Albany (DGCA) is a volunteer organization, run for the players by the players. The main focus of the DGCA is the installation and up grade of disc golf courses in the Albany community, while creating an inclusive disc golf community.

Our main focus is the installation of the disc golf course at Simpson Park. With the installation of the first 9 tone poles we are half way there. Scott, Jeromie, and Jon have been doing weekly work parties; if you are interested in taking part in a work party please contact Scott Duvaul.

The club will host tournaments at Simpson disc golf course throughout the year. Our largest tournament of the year is the Simpson Summer Sling. This is a two day PDGA sanctioned B-tier tournament part of the Oregon Series. The main reasons for hosting the Simpson Summer Sling is to promote disc golf in the local community and promote Albany to the general disc golf public. We feel we can do both of these while providing a safe and inclusive environment that is both equitable to the players, community, and sponsors.
